About the event
Harrodsburg, founded nearly 250 years ago, was the linchpin to the further English settlement of Kentucky. As we prepare to celebrate the sestercentennial of our county seat, join us for a book talk with local author Bobbi Dawn Rightmyer on James Harrod - the pioneer, soldier, and visionary - who led the expedition that opened Kentucky's frontier for settlement.
Bobbi will be discussing her newly published book, James Harrod: Founder of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. Copies will be available for sale from the author to any interested attendees.
