Donations |

MCPL accepts donations of reading materials in reasonable condition.
The Mercer County Public Library, a non-profit organization,
gratefully acknowledges the receipt of these items, yet it is unable
to assign a monetary value for tax purposes. Should donations be
appraised items, the Library’s acceptance of the items does not
imply endorsement of the appraiser’s evaluation. Further, the donor
needs to be aware that the library will select from the donation
those materials that meet the Library selection criteria. Should the
library not be able to use the items, the donor may elect to have
the books returned to them by indicating that on the donation form.
Otherwise the Library is free to use/dispose of the materials as it
sees fit. |
